What happens after 14 days?
The trial starts when you first open the app. After 14 days, plainDB asks you to purchase and activate before opening a new database connection. Existing sessions can finish without losing edits. Your saved connections, queries and databases are not deleted.
Does one license cover Mac and Windows?
Yes. Activate up to three computers in total, using either platform. Keep your license key from the purchase confirmation page.
Is this a subscription?
No. Pay once for the current full version. Future major versions may be sold separately; this is not a promise of lifetime updates.
Do I need to stay online?
The trial works offline. Activation needs an internet connection. Activated apps retain a signed license locally and periodically check its status; a temporary network outage does not remove a valid license.
How do I receive my license?
After Stripe confirms payment, the purchase page displays your key. Save it, then choose Enter License in plainDB. Payment confirmation may take a moment.
