Mac 2.1.10 is Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized. Open the DMG, drag plainDB into Applications, then launch it from Applications. Quit any older running copy before replacing it.
Windows 2.1.11 is built and tested on a Windows CI runner, including installation, native app launch and an uninstall that preserves existing user data. Physical-PC acceptance at different DPI scales remains pending. The per-user installer preserves your connections and credentials. It currently has no publisher certificate, so Windows can show an unknown-publisher warning. Future in-app ZIP updates verify the signed manifest and archive hash before replacing the app. Review the platform feature matrix before choosing a build.

Group your data and work with queries more clearly.
Group & summarize
Choose Group & summarize from the table filters. Pick grouping fields and Count, Sum, Average, Minimum or Maximum. Your filters carry into a schema-qualified query, ready for you to review and run.
Run what you select
The query toolbar shows whether you are running a selection or the current statement. Keep the editor and results together in a compact, resizable workspace.
Keep every result
This release retains full query results and complete exports. Any LIMIT written in your SQL still applies. Grouped queries open separately, keeping your table view intact.
Choose Check for Updates in the app to receive this release. If you use the old Windows 1.0.0 ZIP, install this release once to enable future in-app updates. Your saved connections stay in their existing local data folder.

Full query results, complete exports and clearer table suggestions.
See and export every row
Run shows every row returned by your query. Result exports use that same complete result, without the previous 1,000-row cap. Any LIMIT written in your SQL still applies.
Use the correct schema
Table autocomplete inserts quoted, schema-qualified names. Type a table’s short name to see matches across schemas, or type a schema followed by a dot to see its tables. Alias column suggestions retain the referenced table’s schema.
Prepare your next query
New Query starts with a SELECT for the selected table, including its schema. AI schema context includes public as well as other schemas, and the assistant is instructed to qualify table names.
This release retains the macOS 27 launch compatibility fix and the verified macOS 15.5 table-tab fix. It supports macOS 14.4 or later on Apple silicon. If your current version cannot open, download this installer and replace plainDB in Applications; your saved connections remain in place.
Built for the way you work.
